6:30 – 7:00 pm
Flor de Cana
Flor de Caña’s vibrant history will be explored. Participants will be taken on a journey; travelling from 1875 when Francisco Alfedo Pellas departed Italy for the promised fortune of the American Gold Rush, to 1890 when the distillery was established, to today over 130 years later, where Flor de Caña is still family owned in it’s 5th generation, and is the World’s first Global Spirit to be both Carbon Neutral and Fair Trade Certified!

We will travel through our single-estate production process which proudly operates on 100% renewable energy, looking at the elements which make Flor de Caña unique.
During the class, a portfolio tasting of our Ontario range will be conducted. Each variants tasting notes will be described, showcasing the characteristics and flavor profiles of each. #cheerstosustainability

Gray Jay Canadian Whiskey
Join us to make a Gray Jay Smash: A ridiculously good cocktail that’s surprisingly simple! Gray Jay Deluxe Canadian Whisky pairs perfectly with apple cider and gets an extra kick from fresh lemon juice and cinnamon.

Walters Caesar
Join Trevor Burnett, our Caesar savant as he crafts Canada’s national beverage with a classic and contemporary recipe from the upcoming publication ‘Caesar Country – Cocktails Clams and Canada’ from Penguin Random House Canada.
Trevor is making 2 cocktails the classic Caesar and the Amaro with Pisco and rum.
